Magazine Carrier Tote Bag Made of Batik in Purples and Deep Reds OOAK by Julie Clark Art
Unique magazine carrier tote bag made of batik fabrics in purples and deep reds is handmade and one of a kind. Made of imported batik fabric, this richly colored bag, saturated with purple, pink and deep red hues, is perfect slung over the shoulder, carrying anything from magazines to your slim book reader. Lined with cotton batting covered by a light purpley-pink fabric, darker raw-edged strips allow you to tie this unique bag closed.
The focus of the bag is the patch-work of batik fabrics, with wonky squares sewn onto the surface using my hands to freely manipulate the fabric under the needle. The design is entirely original, using many different threads, and is, indeed, one of a kind.
SIZE: The bag measure approximately 12 by 10-3/4 inches, and is about 2-1/2 inches wide (deep). For a better visual, it is a perfect size for carrying standard-sized magazines. The strap is 37 inches long, so some might be able to wear it sling-style.
CARE: Spot clean only.
The top edges are rolled under, and the entire piece is made by me, by hand.
Kindly keep in mind that as much as I try to describe pieces accurately, computer monitors and resolution vary from machine to machine.
